NB.

  • The "baseline" CSCTF configuration for the CRUZET 2 (June 11->14 08) Global runs is a "singles" trigger. This means you get a trigger on the basis of reception of any single chamber "local Charged Trigger". Technically the coincidence trigger is run inclusively of this with 'closed window' settings, BXA on as below. We were seeing a rate ~30Hz with this trigger for most of the runs.
  • "Open windows" means that we make no DAT_ETA cuts. This means you get a trigger when you get an LCT from ME2 or ME3 and one other station. The LCTs must be in the same trigger sector and be within 7.5-deg in phi. There are no eta cuts.
  • "Closed windows" for this run really means that the windows are open as above but there is a del-eta cut of 0x5 at the trigger level. Broadly this should remove the ~50% of muons from the 'open windows' config that are less IP pointing.
  • "BXA" stands for "Bunch Crossing Analyser". This allows us to extrapolate LCTs up to 2bx out of time with each other into a track and make a coincidence trigger.
